Architecture career fair attracts local firms
Aspiring architects at Texas A&M University will have the chance to network with local industry leaders and explore potential career paths at the Department of Architecture, Architecture + Industry Advisory Council (A+IAC), and Texas A&M University-American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) Career Fair on Sept. 20, 2024, at the Langford A – Architectural Complex Atrium. Twenty-six architecture firms will be on campus, offering internships and job opportunities to the Department of Architecture undergraduate and graduate students.
Hosted twice a year by the Department of Architecture and its advisory council, the A+IAC Career Fair is a valuable resource for students seeking to gain real-world experience and launch their careers. Students will have the opportunity to learn about employment opportunities, interview with local and regional companies and secure future internships and job offers.
“This career fair provides a vital link between our talented students and the vibrant architecture community in Texas and beyond,” said Department Head Dr. Gregory Luhan.
“We are committed to fostering these national and international connections and helping our students achieve their professional career goals.” – Dr. Gregory Luhan
Many of the companies participating in the fair are active members of the A+IAC, a philanthropic organization dedicated to supporting the Department of Architecture to inspire responsive excellence globally through active integration of the profession of architecture, industry and academia.
