We encourage service in many forms to serve the region, nation, and world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Designing Solutions for Good<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Through outreach programs, students can learn from and collaborate with thought leaders to help underserved communities. Our design studios partner with outreach units and to help real people while solving problems in a classroom. By working with these units, we\u2019ve been able to help the people of the colonias along the U.S.-Mexico border and those affected by hurricanes and other natural disasters. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Legacy of Service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students can develop leadership skills through student organizations, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arch.tamu.edu\/academics\/study-away\/internships\/\">internships<\/a>, research and teaching assistantships, and community engagement activities.
