Our department serves societal, cultural, and industrial needs through innovative combinations of meaning, making, materials, and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOur commitment to service\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\n\t<\/p>\n\n\n\n The department\u2019s faculty, staff and administrators are dedicated to supporting our students in and out of the classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Each spring we showcase the work of our students and faculty at our End-of-Year Show (EOYS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEnd-of-Year Show\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\n\t<\/p>\n\n\n\n Each year, we engage with the Aggie network and professional connections to introduce students to potential employers across multiple career paths. Our career fair provides networking opportunities for potential employees and employers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tArchitecture Career Fair\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\n\t<\/p>\n\n\n\n Each academic year, our department awards more than 150 scholarships worth over $480,000. Donors who partner with the Texas A&M Foundation make these scholarships possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tArchitecture Scholarships\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\n\t<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our graduates are prepared for professional careers and active engagement in the Aggie network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our internship program gives students a chance to get industry experience while working on their degree. Both our students and the firms involved benefit from these exchanges. After graduation, many of our students go to work with the firms they interned with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tArchitecture internship program\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\n\t<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our professional program is accredited to guarantee that our programs meet national standards. Each accrediting body requires we publish information regarding program performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMaster of Architecture program performance\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\n\t<\/p>\n\n\n\n Involvement from our Architecture + Industry Advisory Council ensures we are preparing our students for careers after graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tArchitecture + Industry Advisory Council (PAB)\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\n\t<\/p>\n\n\n\n As part of the ongoing partnership between Texas A&M University, Prairie View A&M University, and the NIA Cultural Center in Galveston, the Voices and Visions of Emancipation initiative<\/a> celebrates the legacies of freedom that began with Juneteenth \u2014 June 19, 1865 \u2014 when the last group of illegally enslaved persons were finally liberated under General Order Number 3. Issued by President Abraham Lincoln and introduced by Union General Gordon Granger, the order specified that “…all slaves are free.
