The Zachry Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University has recently recognized significant accomplishments among its faculty and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Research Impact Award for Co-PI Sideris<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Co-Principal Investigator Sideris has been honored with the Research Impact Award from the Zachry Department. This award acknowledges his contributions to impactful research within the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n National Science Foundation Recognition for Koliou<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Principal Investigator Koliou has been selected as one of the National Science Foundation (NSF) and Kaleta A. Doolin Foundation (KADF) Ocean Decade Champions. This prestigious designation highlights her commitment to advancing ocean science and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Promotion of Faculty Members<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Both Koliou and Sideris have been promoted to Associate Professors with tenure at the Zachry Department. This recognition reflects their dedication to teaching, research, and service within the academic community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Annual Project Team Meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In April 2023, the project team held its second annual in-person meeting in College Station, Texas. This gathering provided an opportunity for collaboration and discussion among team members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
