The Center for Housing & Urban Development pursues initiatives, programs and projects of common interest and benefit to all, especially those that enhance both the quality of life for people and the quality of the place in which they live.
CHUD provides a solid foundation to link, coordinate and integrate the efforts of multiple stakeholders. Together, we form a cohesive critical mass that pools, leverages and shares resources within local, regional, state, national and international public/private partnerships.
CHUD’s service and engagement strengthens and establishes relationships with groups who can benefit from the knowledge generated through our research and program activities, such as:
- Internal and external funders to garner support for research and program activities
- Local governments
- Community-based organizations
Working with these groups gives us a chance to collaborate with stakeholders to translate knowledge into outcomes on the ground.
