A campus oasis designed by a former outstanding former alumna’s firm
The E-Quad, an oasis designed by Coleman & Associates, a landscape architecture firm headed by Aan Coleman ‘81, is just a short walk across Ross St. from Langford C. Coleman is an Outstanding Alumna of the College of Architecture. The quad’s name comes from the engineering buildings that surround it.
“Aan’s office took the ugliest space on campus, and transformed it into the most beautiful space on campus,” said Bruce Dvorak, associate professor of landscape architecture.
