Students create designs, construction plans for hotel project
Design concepts and construction plans for a hotel in Midland, Texas are being developed this semester by teams of graduate and undergraduate students in environmental design, land and property development, and construction science.
As the semester has progressed, students have consulted with Midway Companies, the project’s developer, and gotten feedback on their design iterations from Tim Leach, CEO of Concho Resources, and Mark Wellen, who heads a Midland architecture firm.
