Aggies convert containers to mobile clinics to battle COVID-19
A mobile medical unit created by Aggies in BUILD, which consists of students from majors throughout campus, was delivered to the border town of Presidio in early April to help in the battle against COVID-19. Students in BUILD, among whose donors is the Department of Construction Science’s Construction Industry Advisory Council, also converted a unit destined coronavirus testing at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital. The College of Architecture’s Colonias Program helped facilitate the delivery of the unit to Presidio.
