Design, planning, construction ideas for a trailblazing community
Students from three college departments presented planning, design and construction proposals for Crossways Farm Village, an innovative residential development located on a dairy farm in South Africa.
Crossways was conceptualized by a firm led by Chris Mulder ’80, an Outstanding Alumnus of the College of Architecture, who attended final project reviews.
The project’s aims included teaching students to work effectively in teams with colleagues in different disciplines. It was supported in part by the Texas A&M Presidential Transformational Teaching Grant program.
