Construction science major to lead next year’s yell leaders
The distinctive sounds of Aggie yells will be led next year by construction science major Zac Cross, the 2022-2023 head yell leader.
“I’m a proud first-generation Aggie who was initially only coming to Texas A&M to fulfill my Marine Corps scholarship,” said Cross, who is from Pearland, Texas. “I was captivated by the sense of family that all Aggies share, no matter their background or history.”
Cross, who previously served as a junior yell leader, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role. He is a member of the Corps of Cadets’ Company H-1, a Marine Corps midshipman, and a member of the Old Army Gentlemen’s Society. He is also a recent recipient of the World War ll Order of Merit Award with the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps program.
