Since 2002, HIAC has supported the activities of the Center for Health Systems and Design and Texas A&amp;M University students interested in health design and research.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HIAC aims to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Create exciting and effective university-industry partnerships<\/strong> that contribute significantly to the creation of better healthcare environments<\/li><li><strong>Tap the expertise of HIAC leaders<\/strong> in support of the world\u2019s best university-based education program in healthcare design and research<\/li><li><strong>Engage HIAC members in high impact research<\/strong> that demonstrate that good healthcare design improves medical \/ economic outcomes<\/li><li><strong>Undertake research projects<\/strong> that advance the state of sound knowledge for evidence-based design and empower the transformation of healthcare architecture<\/li><li><strong>Initiate funded healthcare design studio projects<\/strong> comprised of collaborations among HIAC professional firms and corporations and Texas A&amp;M University faculty and students<\/li><li><strong>Enhance funding, resources and capabilities<\/strong> for the healthcare design and research program at Texas A&amp;M University<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-business-entity-benefits\">Business entity benefits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Business members of HIAC gain direct access to students, faculty and researchers.
