Internships hone students’ skills and prepare them to start their careers. With an internship, you’ll gain valuable experience working alongside career professionals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
An internship can satisfy the College of Architecture’s requirement to spend one semester away from College Station. Meet with your academic advisor to see if your internship will fulfill the requirement. Students are encouraged to complete their internship during the fall or spring semester of their junior year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finding an internship is your responsibility. The internship program coordinator, department faculty and <\/span>career center<\/span><\/a> can provide valuable resources regarding the internship search process, including contacts with specific individuals and organizations.<\/span><\/p>\n You can also attend departmental and college-wide career fairs to meet and network with potential internship providers. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n\n\n It is recommended that students take their internship in the second semester of their junior year. Internships cannot be taken during the semester prior to graduation. In some departments, a completed internship is a prerequisite for several 400-level courses. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\t
