The College of Architecture Woodshop provides students a space to gain real-world woodworking experience while honing their building and design skills. The Woodshop provides students a wide array of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Location<\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n ILSQ Room <\/span>W101 & W102<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hours<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n Monday \u2013 Friday, 8 a.m. \u2013 5 p.m. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Contact<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n woodshop@arch.tamu.edu<\/strong><\/span><\/a> The Woodshop provides a clean and safe environment where students can create high-quality projects, develop their woodworking and advance their construction skills. Student employees and a full-time supervisor with knowledge in woodworking, modern design and best building practices are always present. Together they oversee the shop\u2019s daily operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Woodshop is available to anyone in the College of Architecture to use free of charge. With approval, faculty and students outside of the college may use the Woodshop at an hourly charge based per project. If you have any questions, please come by and discuss with the Woodshop supervisor.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Location:<\/b> <\/span>ILSQ Room <\/span>W101 & W102<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hours:<\/b> Monday \u2013 Friday, 8 a.m. \u2013 5 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Woodshop has laser cutters available that can be used to precisely cut designs out of a variety of materials. Use of the laser cutters for College of Architecture students is free for college-related projects.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Location: <\/b>ILSQ Room <\/span>W101 & W102<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cutting Hours:<\/b> Monday \u2013 Friday, 8:30 a.m. \u2013 4:30 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n If you need help setting up a file, choosing a material, using AutoCAD and the template file, or would like to schedule a class helpdesk session, please email woodshop@arch.tamu.edu<\/a> to schedule an appointment.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n \n\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAutoCAD Template\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\n\t<\/p>\n\n\n\n Woodshop protocol demands that all shop patrons make safety their utmost consideration. Prior to utilizing the shop, each student must: <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n You must complete a safety walk-through prior to using the space. Please make an appointment with the woodshop supervisor to complete this requirement. To complete the safety walkthrough, you must bring the following:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
