The Texas chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) hosted its annual student design competition at the Palmer Event Center in Austin, Texas, from April 24-26, 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both Master of Landscape Architecture and Bachelor of Landscape Architecture students worked individually and in teams on research projects centered around landscape architecture principles. The winning students, their projects, and the awards they received are listed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Merit Award:<\/strong> Lauren Kasel, Kayla Bennett, Sydney Puentes, Riley Simmons, Oscar Trevino. Award of Merit:<\/strong> Jose Zapata, Brian Schoppe, Cole Bishop, Blake Alexander. These awards underscore the students\u2019 commitment to advancing the field of landscape architecture through innovative and sustainable designs.
