The winning students, their projects, and the awards they received are listed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Merit Award:<\/strong> Lauren Kasel, Kayla Bennett, Sydney Puentes, Riley Simmons, Oscar Trevino.<br>\u201cDefining Deer Park.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Award of Merit:<\/strong> Jose Zapata, Brian Schoppe, Cole Bishop, Blake Alexander.<br>\u201cEcohaven: Nurturing Community Health &amp; Ecology in Suburban Texas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Award of Excellence:<\/strong> Jiang Zheng.<br>\u201cRestoring the Lost Resacas: Wetland Restoration in the Lower Rio Grande Valley, Texas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Award of Excellence:<\/strong> Jiwoon Jeong, Yeankyoung Hahm, Jaechang Ko, Suryeon Kim, John Oh.<br>\u201cRestoring the Lost Resacas: Wetland Restoration in the Lower Rio Grande Valley, Texas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Award of Honor:<\/strong> Yinglan Hao, Zipeng Guo.<br>\u201cUrban Park Optimization for Nighttime Use &#8211; Austin, Texas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These awards underscore the students\u2019 commitment to advancing the field of landscape architecture through innovative and sustainable designs.
