The College of Architecture and International Student Services<\/a> are committed to ensuring your success at Texas A&M University. Here are some general guidelines to make your application process easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Complete your application through ApplyTexas<\/a> or the Coalition<\/a>. Don\u2019t worry, there are examples and instructions. Visit the Office of Admissions<\/a> website to get detailed information about required documents, when to apply and other important information for international applicants. You do not need a portfolio as a freshman applicant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n August 1, 2022 \u2013 December 1, 2022<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n April 1, 2022 \u2013 August 1, 2022<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n You are required to submit the following in addition to your application: <\/p>\n\n\n\n *ELP tests should be taken at least eight weeks prior to the application deadline to ensure timely receipt and processing of results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The United States Department of State requires all international students to have a student visa. The International Student Services\u2019 visa page<\/a> and the Bureau of Consular Affairs<\/a> provide extensive information about how to apply and interview for a visa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Waiting is the hardest part. That’s why the Office of Admissions<\/a> lets you check your application and records online through the Application Information System<\/a>. Keep in mind it takes at least three weeks to review. Fall and summer admissions are posted by late March and spring admissions are posted by December. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Your complete admission file will be reviewed holistically based on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n After you get your acceptance packet in the mail (Whoop, congrats!), be sure to tell us you’re coming. You can confirm your acceptance by accepting your admission offer online<\/a> or returning the admission acceptance card you receive in your packet. Check out the Admitted Checklist<\/a> to make sure you are completing all the required steps and paperwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Don\u2019t forget to send in your:<\/p>\n\n\n\n New Student Conferences<\/a> are a must! You will learn everything you need to work out to become an Aggie and sign up for your first semester of classes! Don\u2019t forget to bring your family. We’d love to meet them. New Student & Family Programs are here to support your success as a new student. <\/p>\n\n\n\n At your NSC, you\u2019ll meet your academic advisors and learn more about your major and program. You must attend an NSC to register for your classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The College of Architecture requires all freshmen, change of major and transfer students to have a desktop or laptop computer. New students are encouraged to purchase a laptop to ensure the mobility, longevity and compatibility of their programs, software and 21st century education.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n The college\u2019s Office of Information Technology provides minimum recommended specifications for personal computers and laptops<\/a> with additional guidelines for each department.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","meta":{"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"resource_audience":[29,34,31],"resource_category":[37],"resource_department":[107],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n1.
