Meet Shannon, a Landscape Designer on the Project Management Team at SSC Service Solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shannon graduated with a Master of Urban Planning in 2020 with focuses in Smart Cities and Evidence Based Design.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
A typical day for me is to answer client emails, check work orders, meet client(s) for estimates, design landscapes in AutoCad and estimate projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My favorite thing is planning long term projects for Deferred Maintenance money all around the campus. I choose areas of campus that need a specific type of update and plan at least a year ahead to complete the projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The professionalism and presentation skills I learned while at A&M have been extremely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I attended Camp ARCH in high school and decided to join the Landscape Architecture program with a master’s in Urban Planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My best advice is to use the knowledge and skills you know from creating large scale plans with smaller (human scale) projects.
